My big business dreams do little than influence the actions of today. The industries I dabble in are; Graphic Design, Photography, Video Production, Marketing, writing, blogging, Online radio, and Project Management. I want to end up in business coaching, investing, and real estate… It’s a long story. I don’t see myself in just one industry or even a few. My strengths and skill sets touch a little bit of everything. My big dream is to one day buy the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City and turn in into the future world standard of education. It’s my lifetime ambition.
Currently my focus is setting up an online social flow to market a book I wrote about being social and building networking skills. It includes a podcast and blog. We even have a workshop in the works. I’m in the process of building a team around this idea. When it’s up and running without me I’ll be moving on to other classes and workshops that teach other skill sets. The vision is to build GatewayGears University one class at a time.
Jason was born in San Joaquin California in 1986 to Jerry and Lynette Rogers. He was their 2nd child of 7 kids. Jerry worked as a computer repair and IT trainer. Jason was homeschooled for a large portion of his childhood. Lynette wanted to provide a better experience for her children than what she experience in school.
They moved around the country for Jerry’s work and Jason spent most of his childhood playing in the back woods of Virginia. As a child Jason was shy and awkward. He had a hard time connecting with the other kids. In Boy Scouts he was often left out or picked last for many of the activities. Instead of letting this deter him from making friends Jason became determined to learn what it took to be social.
